This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Tewkesbury CC's Pavilion at the Swilgate Ground behind the town's famous Abbey and to celebrate this milestone the club are hosting their first ever Cricket & Cider Festival.

The event takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend starting with a match between a current Tewkesbury CC XI and a Former TCC Players XI on Friday August 24th at 15.00. On Saturday, the club's Second XI have a league match against Witcombe followed by an Open Mic Night in the clubhouse.

There is a fun day on Sunday with a Six-a-Side Tournament and various other competitions including country skittles, welly wanging, golf, coconut shy and many more. The event concludes on Bank Holiday Monday with a Dads vs Lads match.

The Festival is open to all and entry is free. There will be 8 traditional ciders on sale throughout the weekend but if cider isn't your drink of choice then fear not as our club bar is generously stocked with a wide range of chilled bottled real ales and beers.

There are lots of benches and places to relax whilst watching the cricket (providing the sun stays out) and food will be served as the action continues on the field. All visitors will receive a free program detailing the ciders on sale and itinerary of events.
