Campaign for Real Ale

Campaign for Real Ale

Pub of The Month May 2020

Each month, Tewkesbury CAMRA will recommend to you a pub in our area which we think is worth a visit when life returns to normal and we can go to the pub again.

We will try and tell you which real ales they have on offer and link you to their own website if they have one!

This Month we are recommending -

Village Inn The Green Twyning TEWKESBURY GL20 6DF

About the Pub

Busy village inn, circa 1457, popular with the locals. There is a garden to the rear and the front patio overlooks the village green (car parking on the green). Pleasant walks to the river where the ferry runs daily to Tewkesbury and Bredon. Rambling bar area. The pub is used by local skittle and darts teams and as a meeting place for many local societies and clubs. Watch out for the low entrance doorway. The pub has low ceilings and the enclosed attractive gardens enhance the beautiful village setting.
