About the Pub
Busy village inn, circa 1457, popular with the locals. There is a garden to the rear and the front patio overlooks the village green (car parking on the green). Pleasant walks to the river where the ferry runs daily to Tewkesbury and Bredon. Rambling bar area. The pub is used by local skittle and darts teams and as a meeting place for many local societies and clubs. Watch out for the low entrance doorway. The pub has low ceilings and the enclosed attractive gardens enhance the beautiful village setting.
